I normally hear good things about Ed Zitron, but https://www.wheresyoured.at/crowdstruck-2/ is embarrassingly wrong-headed.
The first piece of painfully bad analysis is that Microsoft should be held responsible for approving the CrowdStrike kernel driver.
This driver hooks *deep* into a bunch of stuff, is obfuscated, and relies on dynamic config updates.
The only way to be sure you don't approve a crasher is to never approve this kind of software.
