If complaining about something online encourages people to give you more of that thing - only complain about it if you want more.
I've used this in #browser #pvp #games where being attacked is the entire point. Not enough attacks? Complain about being attacked and they will roll in waves from people who are easily emotionally manipulated. They assume you are sincere and they think they are doing what you dont want, gleefully.
Works every single time where the thing is seen as a "negative".
