Does anyone know why our Queen Butterfly larvae have been in this sphinx position lately? I’ve seen this especially when temps here in Tucson, AZ are > 108° F, but also at night, with all sizes larvae. It’s not the J-ready-to-pupate position but more of an angled position. Is it a cooling mechanism?
