Annual wildfires CO₂ emissions are 5 to 8 billion tonnes (fossil fuels are ~37 billion). Even though some of these fires are ignited by humans (either accidentally or intentionally), wildfire CO₂ emissions are not counted as anthropogenic because attribution is so difficult.
