There’s no shortage of attention and funds directed at decarbonization. One could argue that we should have started decades ago, or that we need to do it faster. However, stopping research projects like LOC-NESS won’t help achieve that.
The only thing that will be achieved by stopping research into the efficacy of CDR is that it will allow companies that want to use the potential for CDR for greenwashing to continue doing so. 8/n
