I have the day off today. So do quite a lot of my colleagues, randomly. I am hoping I don't need to go in after all what with working in a sector that relies on banks being functional. Especially on a Friday, which is our busiest day of the week.
For clarity: I work in a law firm, in the Residential Property department. Most people like to complete their property sales and purchases on a Friday, and we rely on the banking system to send money.
