#WritersCoffeeClub Where is WIP set? Why did you choose this?
Panelák is set in Prague in 1987. I chose this because at the time, a friend of mine had just done a drama series set in '89 and I thought it made for a more interesting setting than modern day. I chose 1987 so that we were towards the end of the Communist era, but not close enough to the Velvet Revolution that that would become part of the plot. It's complicated enough!
