#WritersCoffeeClub WIP setting CONT
Hatter - is set across two time periods, one in 1887 and one in 1829. I chose the 1887 one because that was the year Alice in Wonderland was first adapted to the stage, which gives a trigger point for the characters to want to get out of Oxford and away from the hype. I considered several cities, but Edinburgh just worked right away. The other setting had to be earlier, and usually the Mad Hatter is portrayed in early 18th century dress.
