It says everything there is to say about humanity as a species that this can happen without Russia being immediately obliterated. Humans are the only species I can think of that would allow such barbarism to continue. Granted, we are the only one to have developed the capacity for such an extreme, but that is because we quit culling the rogues somewhere back in prehistory. Antisocial abberations became "religious" shamans, or warlords & were followed, not stoned to death.
