I had a really stupid conversation with an old friend(who is having numerous mental & social health difficulties). He is angry about trans people.
I asked him why he wasn’t angry about Billionaires, climate change, etc.
He thinks he can’t do anything about *those problems*.
I told him that unless he was looking for sex, who cares about gender? It was none of his business.
But this was unsatisfying—emotionally, he is distracted by hate, and logic can’t resolve that.
