1. You get nothing for nothing. If someone is offering you something, it's a scam.
2. Govts and agencies have to verify your ID before giving you details. Scammers create urgency by telling you things without verifying who you are.
3. Scammers may have your info, you should search for yourself from time to time, know what is out there.
4. Hang up. Call the agency/bank/whomever with the number from your records.
5. Do not trust them no matter who they say they are. Assume they are a scammer.
