If I ever get into tardis, I will go back in time & I too would ensure the Hays Code never came into being.
One can see how much we lost - those nuanced adult characters & more importantly female characters that are real. Women with desires & flaws who are not punished or changed by the men. The men love them for their spirit.
(As opposed to how they can help the male characters, which is what female characters have been delegated to even 100 years later)
