Life is fleeting. But we can be nice to each other some times.
I have this plywood 80s HSS guitar with 50mm/2in string spacing (long story).
A luthier on YT who just casted about using the right width bridge replied to my comment about how weird 50mm string spacing is by sending me an new bridge! Wow!
Close up of the bridge of a Dean Z Playmate 80s plywood superstrat (they were about $150 on reverb last I checked) showing the 2 point bridge and saddles and part of the bridge humbucker, with a ruler showing the string span is two inches, which is narrower than a standard fender guitar bridge. This is because they didn't make humbuckers in the 80s with fender string spacing. It's the spacing of a Gibson neck pickup. Bridges and bridge pickups this narrow are hard to find.
