I just got criticized for saying that I don’t support the cannibalization of antique clothing for reuse in modern maker wear and costumes.
They think that stuff is easy to come by and may as well be used and won’t be as enjoyed in a museum.
I’m stunned. They called my level of appreciation “fetishistic”.
