A post I made years ago... Still true today:
I’ve been seeing these memes all over. “Roman road built 2000 years ago” compared to [insert your local highway numbers here]. It’s total nonsense since the Roman roads are PROTECTED MONUMENTS that we can’t use. They would look like shit too if THOUSANDS of cars and THOUSANDS OF TONS of cargo were transported on the Roman roads PER DAY.
If anything, it shows that you can’t even logic your way out of a paper sack. Stop it. It’s embarrassing.
