If you want a flavour of what locals think about things, particularly these 'demonstrations' and 'counter demonstrations' then you only have to go and read the comments on 'Nextdoor'...OMG divisions in UK society are alive and well and working at the grassroots level. The rot is deeply embedded and I suspect has been for a very long time, and now it's all out in the open. There are good people doing good things too of course, but overall it's a sick society.
