All this talk of “double standards” for Trump and Harris has me thinking. No one who supports Democrats is going to ditch Harris if she’s somehow less than a debating prodigy. And no one who supports Trump is going to switch to her no matter what he does or she says. Yes, it’s obnoxious of the media, but I’m not sure it actually matters anymore.
So what’s the point of the debate? In my mind, it’s to be on the record for history. So that everyone knows exactly who chose exactly what.
