I’m Kathleen Hanna’s autobiography, there’s a touching moment where she talks about how she had a chance to meet up with Kurt Cobain shortly before he died (she and him were old friends), but she talked herself out of going because she thought he was too busy. Reminded me of all the trouble I have with staying in touch with old friends - you assume that reaching out will be a burden, especially if they seem successful. It’s a notion I have a lot of trouble talking myself out of.
