Today a colleague I've been working with for 3 years approached me to say thanks for mentoring and teaching. Even if he sometimes wants to strangle me when I'm way too direct, or stand my ground very firm, or am inpatient and getting a bit frustrated (one can hear that ;)).
This made me very happy and felt good. I'm still trying to accept this (I struggle with accepting kudos).
It reminds me how important a "thank you" is. Maybe we should say this more often.
