Pro tip: devilled eggs are super easy to make, but you can really up your game by adding some bacon fat (and fine home-made bacon bits).
My fancy yet easy version:
Eggs… hard boiled a min or two longer than usual to ensure a solid ‘boat’.
Dijon mustard
Bacon fat
Bacon dust
Champaign vinegar
Micro-diced chives for garnish
Paprika
Chipotle powder OR Sriracha
Salt/white pepper to taste.
You should be able to get stiff peaks… don’t make pudding.
Pipe or spoon into egg, chill to set.
