The number of civilians killed by Israel has been so disproportionate it almost defies comprehension. The expansion into Lebanon, the shots at Iran - it's obvious Israel wants to escalate this war.
It was never just about Gaza or just about October 7. The occupation and colonization of Palestinians has been going on since Israel's very founding (much like the US, Canada, etc). The difference is that we are seeing the completion of the colonial project in real-time.
