Here’s a “fun” part that inspired this: until yesterday, I thought “a11y” was one of those names of a standard that some companies like to invent, never thinking that it will ever be used by humans. You know a lot of them if you have been around the IT industry for even a minute. And hey, it looks like the word “ally”. Aren’t we clever?
And you know how I realized it wasn’t? Because I read the post where people were making fun of it. Accessibility should be accessible!
