1- first day of my
-or slowness! would be proud 😉 slow start, I'll go out and do some garden stuff in a while...
heading for first 30C /86F of the year, still cool in the house at 2:23 p.m. will be warm for a few hours this evening.
Outside will be toasty in the sun, but shade will still be nice,
Views 11a.m. - one of the areas I hope to start on this week- overgrown but still making happy (more in alt)

View of part of what I call the 'Eurasian Mesic Beds' mostly non-natives planted, but many natives have found their way in. This needs lots of weeding to keep desired plants from being overwhelmed, but lots of flowers right now! Native white Geranium richardsonii and yellow Geum aleppicum, non-native lavender coloured Geranium pratense cultivar, Hypochaeris maculatum- like giant dandelions, Oxyria pinkish flower/seed spikes, budding white Campanula, grasses etc. Band of shade from a large tree in the background and part of an old plywood shed.

A small native leafcutter bee buzzes toward a flowering plant of Erigeron philadelphicum, a native fleabane with pink flowerheads- kind of like a daisy or aster. White Geranium/cranesbill flowers behind
