When I first started using Mastodon many years ago it wasn't all that interesting unless you were part of very specific in groups. Cliquish. Lots of "we don't do that here".
Which is totally ridiculous. Where is here?
When I started using it full time a couple of years ago I realized I just had to be the Mastodon I wanted to see in the world and not wait for it to develop to my liking.
Can't worry about a few people's opinions.
