In light of the debate about #books, #authors and #LLM, I am currently thinking more and more about the essence of human #creativity compared to machine production.
How will we tell #stories in the future? By what value will we measure stories? Pure monetary value? What does #culture and #art give to a society? Will authors of the future embroider stories on kitchen strainers to protect them from #enshittification? 😉 @writing

A historic slate in our original village school in the museum. It is printed with red lines that look like musical notation. These are aids for learning to use cursive writing.
Rests of an old fresco in one of our museum rooms. It shows a text of a religious song. With the help of that text, we could reconstruct the history of that room: It was used for religious gatherings in the 17th c.
A so-called Breverl, a catholic form of a "magic book": In the middle a collage of magical relics and objects. The nine parts of prayers, images of saints and magic spells were folded from the outside inwards and often carried on the body like a small book.
