I finally got the stabilizer mission done on the third try. I still think the mission requires you to know exactly how the escape sequence works. The second attempt failed because I saved the stabilizer on low ground last. The problem was that it was on one side of the map, and the exit point spawned on the opposite site. The winding roads were simply too slow and the hills too deep. So I had to leave the middle one last to cut the maximum drive to half. It was still close.
