Black cat with white belly, bib and feet is laying on the ground at the edge of a woodland path with is covered with spruce needgles and dry leaves. She is partly obscured behing a clump of rather wispy grass. A shaft of sunlight cuts through the shade, almost perfectly along the path, and including Pearly where she is laying. Behind/around are various native understory plants, some grass, some leafy with some green and splashes of gold.
