Tried Sun imaging this morning but the atmosphere just was hazy and unsettled. This evening things were much better with clearer, steadier skies, and temperatures in the mid-80s (℉).
AR3738 edges nearer Sun's western limb while three new spots are emerging in the east. "Big sunspot AR3738 unleashed an M5.3-class solar flare today, July 13th, at 1242 UT", reported Spaceweather .com. "So far, no CME has been detected emerging from the blast site."
