This sort of uninformed scaremongering really isn't helpful.
Nobody in the UK is getting fined for having a video doorbell, even if it does record footage outside the boundary of their property, and certainly not under hashtag#GDPR.
This is all based on a recent court case where someone was harassing a neighbour using CCTV cameras to record their activities. The fact that they had a video doorbell was NOT the reason for the guilty verdict and there's no £100,000 fine involved.
