Another bit of tory legacy that needs destroying: the plans for a tunnel under Stonehenge.
Apart from the way that it is remarkably bad value for money & will damage parts of the wider sacred landscape that have been largely untouched, disposing of the spoil would destroy yet more valuable agricultural top soil.
It wouldn't speed up road journeys much, because it would just move hold-ups to a different part of the journey.
