Overall I tend to feel a little out-of-place in the retrocomputing world, because whereas most people I encounter enjoy building new-shaped things for old hardware, I tend to want to just play with building old-shaped things on my modern computer. I guess I've just liked playing with software more than hardware.
But thankfully I've got better at making something just because I find it fun and not because I hope someone else might like it.😀 (it's still nice when someone else likes it, though)
