I really dislike the trend where public services provide information exclusively in an app.
The trigger for this toot is roadworks. My street got blocked, without any notice to me. The website on municipal roadworks only said to "download the app".
It is fine to *also* offer such info in an app. But for crying out loud, stop trying to get into my phone! There is zero problem making such info web-accessible. And it's not hard to make those webpages easily readable on a phone either.
