Ursula von der Leyen has vowed to cut red tape for EU businesses by 25 percent “without undermining the related policy objectives” - and without a baseline.
“It is very strange to promise that you are going to reduce by 25 percent while maintaining the quality of policy, when you don't really know what the full 100 percent is,” @caal told Follow the Money. He said the 25 percent appears "random".
