System is up with new motherboard.
The only gotcha this time was that the pin layout for the front buttons/LEDs had two sets of pins for the power LED, and I used the wrong set. It was easy enough to fix without dismantling anything. And as always, I had forgotten to buy a longer TOSLINK cable. The old motherboard didn't have SPDIF, so I had an external USB one. It's no longer needed, but now the cable needed to reach all the way to the computer.
