I’m still thinking about this, because it’s such a weird idea to me. “People didn’t like Engage as much as Three Houses, because the story and character writing wasn’t as good. So let’s ditch the combat entirely.” People had trouble connecting to the characters because they weren’t as well written, not because it wasn’t as much of a social sim.
What a weird solution. Why isn’t the solution to bad writing just… you know, better writing?
