Fireworks in Japan are usually a summer activity, but due to a bad season of typhoons, one of the biggest firework events in Tokyo was postponed until this evening… whereupon of course it rained! (Although not typhoon’d)
Despite the wet and slight chill, many people opted for the traditional yukata, although some with more appropriate footwear. Others believed in not comprising and kept with the geta sandals… while other others swung the opposite way and pitched a tent 😂
