Can anybody #identify this #plant? It grows in the cracks of a historic #cobblestone pavement in northern Alsace, eastern France. It can always be found with a certain moss and usually even roots in it with a tiny taproot. The larger plants measure only 2 cm in diameter, the taproot 3 mm. Interesting: This plant and the moss seem to prevent any other plant growth.

Several plants of the same species in different sizes. One tiny green plant spreads out in a star shape with arms from the centre. The diameter is approx. 2 cm. It's the plant shown in the macro photos.
