Time for the annual #WanAn #AirDefenseDrill in north #Taiwan! It's lights out in all buildings. Everyone is to stay put. Cars have to pull over to the side of the road and stop moving. Public transit systems are operating on an entry-only no-exit basis.
A few districts have mandatory evacuation drills as well, but not where we are.
And yes, all of our phones did interrupted us with an "incoming missile/rocket" message in the middle of the day.
