So today I learned that one the apps I'm using is filtering my password from certain special characters. Only @ ! # and a few others are allowed. As if this is not bad enough, it was done without telling me. I discovered it as they have a "show password" feature on the login screen, and when entering the password, I could not enter the needed chars. I panicked a little, but tried to submit with those chars missing. And what do you know ... it worked... #infosec
