I'm not pleased with Pepper the cat. Over the last two days he's proudly and loudly presented three gifts, one of which is alive and has taken up residence behind the kitchen cabinets. The two dead gifts were worse, being #eliomys quercinus (lérots). Lérots are endangered, by pesticides and light pollution and other vile human practices, and now, it seems, by Pepper the Mighty Hunter*.
