The cops who “protect” the synagogue now have me paranoid about masking because of NC’s trash law. Yesterday’s random “hang out in the parking lot for The Jews’ Safety” guy also felt the need to pull up on my ass while I was minding my business and finishing a voicemail before turning left.
Another reason I need a way out of this position and to never look back. I am not safe here, not because of outside threats but because of rampant ableism, disrespect, and welcoming the police state.
