It's a bit weird and off putting to me that 'ricing' seems to be an acceptable term for custom visual enhancements in 2024.
(no it's not an acronym for 'race inspired cosmetic enhancement', that acronym is retrofitted, it comes from 'ricer' which was originally referring to a visually modified Japanese car, because that was a popular thing in Japanese car culture before it spread to the west - 'rice' is referring to the kind of rice you eat, because, you know, Japanese people only eat rice)
