So there was a fair bit of tandoori chicken 👆🏽 from the weekend even after a portion got vacuumed sealed and frozen. I had managed to over-char some pieces, so decided to make quick weeknight Makkhan-i or Butter Chicken which is how this dish came to be. Amazingly I've never made it for kids!! (Used to make it long ago but I guess I was teaching myself to replicate restaurant style dishes, little interest in these dishes now).
Quick shortcut with tomato paste tonight
A pot of tandoori chicken pieces napped in a thick gingery tomato and bit of cream sauce/gravy
