Check your local weather if you're in Georgia or the Carolinas, some of these rainfall totals look HUGE

Tropical Storm Debby is centered near  90 nm W of Tampa Florida, moving N at 10 kt.  central pressure is ~992 mb. Max.sustained wind speed: 60 kt with gusts to 75 kt. Peak seas: ~24 ft
off Tampa Bay, +8 ft near the eastern Gulf E of 88W. Scattered to numerous convection covers most of the E Gulf, strong convection have begun to intensify near 90 nm of the center of Debby. 

Center will move across the northeastern Gulf of Mexico tonight 
and reach the Florida Big Bend coast Monday morning. Debby is then expected to move slowly across northern Florida and southern GA on Mon, Tues.. 

Weakening is then expected  after Debby moves inland. 
Rainfall totals of 6 - 12 inches, up to 18 
inche in N Florida thru Fri AM - considerable
flash and urban flooding, river flooding expected. 

Across portions of SE GA, SC 10 to 20 in of rainfall, with local amounts to 30 inches, thru Friday morning. 

Swells from Debby are expected to affect much of the Gulf coast 
of Florida through Monday. Swells will begin to affect the 
Southeast U.S. coast on Monday and continue through the middle of the week. These conditions are likely to cause life-threatening 
surf and rip current conditions.
