I keep on seeing stuff like GenAI is dangerous for its energy consumption (true) and GenAI is dangerous because SkyNet (false).
Nobody seems to care that GenAI is putting millions (or more) of people out of a job - not necessarily because it's gonna be more effective or whatever, but because somebody thinks so.
What exactly do you think will happen to these millions and their families?
