After realizing that I have followed instructions for the wrong model year, I finally got the knee airbag out of this 2023 Toyota Camry in order to get to the central Engine Control Unit gateway. Now on to some #CANBus hacking.
A knee airbag on a grey table top. The airbag has a metal base below and a white fabric on top. Some of the vehicle trim panels are lying beside it.
A disassembled glove compartment of a 2023 Toyota Camry. Much of the trim panels have been removed around the actual glove box. Below the glove box is a yellow plug, where the airbag used to be connected to. Exposed wires can be seen along the passenger side A column.
