After listening through ππΉπΉ ππΆπΉπΉπ²πΏ π‘πΌ ππΆπΉπΉπ²πΏ! π§π΅π² ππ²πΏπΏπ ππ²π² ππ²ππΆπ ππ»ππ΅πΌπΉπΌπ΄π, (#245), I have a different take on Lewisβ transformation. Those early songs were great, but you definitely get the sense there wasnβt much depth to that style. Rock became a fast-evolving genre, it was tough to keep up. Piano faded away, replaced by blues guitar. When it returned, it was in the form of Hammond organs. Lewisβ music became formulaic, uninteresting. It was time to change. (cont)
