Here is the father of the shooter, a 14 year old boy named Colt, in the Georgia school shooting.
There is all this talk "othering" the boy... "a monster," charged as an adult, etc. This is a BOY. A mere CHILD. What kind of living hell was his home life? How did he have access to a gun in the first place? These shooters don't come out of nowhere.
By no means am I excusing his horrific actions, but let's look at the bigger picture. As in, context.
