I’m old enough to remember the excitement of 1997 and the relief that the Tories were finally gone after what felt like eons of Thatcherism ripping apart everything good in the UK.
It only took as couple of weeks in power for Blair to show us his true intentions, to be a Continuity Tory PM, despite a huge majority in Parliament.
This morning at least I know ToryBoy™️ Starmer is and always has been Continuity Tory, thereby skipping that crushing feeling of being lied to 🤷♂️
