@siracusa I think we can safely assume that Apple are working on AR glasses since they have been patenting related technologies such as using lasers to write images directly to your retina (https://appleinsider.com/articles/21/10/26/apple-glass-could-project-ar-directly-onto-a-wearers-retina/, https://www.patentlyapple.com/2023/07/an-apple-vision-pro-patent-was-granted-today-that-relates-to-its-direct-retinal-projector-system.html). I think we can also safely assume that they’ve been working on these for many years (at least since 2017) due to the leaked 911 call transcript when an employee’s eyes were damaged by “the laser” through “use” of a prototype device (https://gizmodo.com/leaked-document-details-apple-employee-injuries-hints-1794482497).
